I met Kasham in South Korea in 2010. A mutual friend introduced us at her birthday dinner. After our first conversation, I instantly felt a deep friendship with Kasham. Her openness, warmth, and knowledge of who she was allowed my shy, introverted self to feel accepted, heard, and at ease.
We have travelled and lived in many different places since then, but we’ve always maintained a deep bond. Whenever we reconnect over a Skype/Zoom call, it’s as if no time has elapsed. I still feel the same warmth and openness that I did during our first meeting all those years ago.
