Frequently Asked Questions

Retreat Questions

Yes. Of course, there are some health conditions, medications and other factors that may make participation unsuitable.

This is why our screening process is so important. Please disclose everything fully and honestly during your application so we can assess whether the retreat is appropriate for you.

There are many factors that determine the exact weight of dried medicine you’ll take. We have a 1:1 session as well as your full honesty/disclosure on your registration to help inform dosing.

Generally speaking, a full (therapeutic and ceremonial) dose is typically 1.8g-3.5g, which is an inward journey, with the intention for deep healing.  All doses are tailored for each participant.

Each person experiences the medicine in their own way. Generally speaking, some people are very visual, some somatic, some have highly sensitive auditory or olfactory experiences, or any combination of those.

It’s important to know that your body will remember to breathe and when you need to have a drink of water or use the restroom, you’ll become more aware of the present moment, being able to address those needs.

Many people feel a bit wobbly or have less sharp motor skills, but rest assured, we are available to support you, should you need assistance.

Most people like to lay down while in ceremony, as the body can sometimes feel heavy, and laying down is very comfortable.

The medicine has a distinct peak period, and comes in waves- making it feel stronger at times and at other times, you feel more present.

We send a lengthy email to help prepare you and guide you through what  journeying is like.

Ceremony generally lasts around 8 hours. You’ll be in medicine typically from 5-7 hours.

Before we take medicine, I will go over some information and we ensure everyone is ready before we begin.

We make sure everyone has proper time with the medicine. We don’t rush the process and we aren’t on a strict timeline. There is plenty of time to journey and we honor everyone’s process.

We have a thorough screening process, for your safety, the safety of those journeying with you and for the entire plant community.

There are some medications, substances, mental health challenges that are contraindicated with  Psilocybin.

Your honesty is vital and we treat your information with dignity and confidentiality.

If a Psilocybin ceremony is not right for you at this time, we have other modalities (that do not include psychedelic substances)  to offer and address what is alive for you at this time.

When you complete your application, we ask for full transparency and honesty. You’ll share information about your history, experience, intentions, health and anything else that may be relevant to your participation.

We review every application carefully and, if we need clarification, we’ll contact you. We aim to make a decision within 48 hours.

If we determine at the time of application that the retreat is not a good fit for you, we’ll let you know and, where appropriate, offer suggestions or alternative resources. Any application that is not approved during the initial screening process will receive a full refund.

It is important to understand that this depends on complete and accurate disclosure. If pertinent information is withheld and is only discovered later, particularly information that creates a contraindication to participation, we cannot guarantee a full refund.

Full transparency is essential, for your safety, for the safety of the group, and for the integrity of the retreat.

Our team of facilitators are highly experienced and trauma-informed.

We are with you every step of the way. We are available to support you in various ways. For example, sitting beside you, holding your hand, giving you a hug, or guiding you through some calming breathing techniques. Simply raise your hand and we will be available.

We never leave participants alone (except in the privacy of the toilet of course). There is always a facilitator observing and available for the safety of all.

We also have a special blanket that supports those feeling especially anxious. All you need to do is raise your hand and ask for it.

We are with you every step of the way. After your application is approved, I will send you a thorough email that gives detailed guidance on how to prepare yourself for your retreat experience.

In brief, it involves making space for the experience and “clean eating” for the days leading to ceremony. Depending on your current lifestyle, this may begin 3-7 days before ceremony.

We also send a 2-wk guide with practical ways you can begin making space for your experience

  • Positive attitude and open heart
  • Clothes for body movement, which will be simple movements customized for all levels
  • Layers for ceremony
  • Mosquito repellant
  • An email will be sent shortly after registration with detailed information of how to pack and prepare

Yes. We work with participants of all experience levels. Each client’s journey is their own unique path and we tailor workshops, dosing and the retreat to each individual.

Integration is equally as important as the ceremony itself. After the retreat, you will have 1:1 session(s), reflection questions for journaling and processing, and the option to join an Telegram group of support. This is all included in your retreat.

If needed, we also offer extra integration packages.

Payment Questions

Our retreats are offered through a Conscious Contribution model. This means we invite you to reflect honestly on your financial situation, the value of the work being offered, and your capacity to contribute to the sustainability of this medicine and community

When participants choose to pay above the minimum contribution, those additional funds are placed into our Helping Hands account. This fund exists solely to support participants who are genuinely experiencing financial hardship

Because “financial hardship” can mean different things to different people—and because we have limited resources—we now offer a maximum of €100 Financial Hardship Support on an application basis.

This support is intended for those who feel deeply called to the work and who are committed to fully showing up for the preparation, the retreat itself, and the integration process.

Please note:

  • This is not a merit-based scholarship, but a needs-based support.

  • Funds are limited and not guaranteed for every applicant.

  • All participants receive the same care, respect, and quality of facilitation regardless of contribution level.

Please ask us for a link to our application if you feel you need extra financial support.

We accept cash, bank transfer, credit card payments, and Revolut.

Because we incur fees with electronic payments, cash is always preferred, but we understand the necessity for the other options and offer them as a service to our clients.

In unique cases, I also accept partial exchange and bartering.

Absolutely. For retreats, a nonrefundable deposit is due at booking. You are automatically set into a payment plan. There are no extra fees for having the payment plan. Pay as much and as frequently as you can, so long as the final amount due is paid by 10 days to the start of retreat.

For other services, full payment is due at booking for online appointments, and upon arrival for in-person appointments.

The cost of a psilocybin retreat varies depending on the retreat, accommodation option and when you book. Our retreats offer different accommodation choices and early booking rates, along with payment plans to make participation more accessible.

We also offer a limited number of partial scholarships for those who may not otherwise be able to participate.

In the spirit of transparency, we are open about how we structure our pricing. Approximately 85% of the retreat price goes toward the direct costs of creating and running the retreat, while approximately 15% goes toward wages for the people who make the retreat possible.

We also contribute financially to indigenous communities, our local community, and organisations working to support and protect sacred medicines and the lands in which they grow. Some of the organisations we currently support include ICEERS, and the Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund.

For current pricing and accommodation options, please see the specific retreat you are interested in.

I have never felt safer and more protected by the love, kindness, and wisdom of your beautiful spirits. For someone like me, who is locked in her own world and finds it difficult to meet new people, having a group retreat was a truly humbling and inspiring experience.

It really made me realize that we all struggle, we are all lost at times, but we are all unique and beautiful, and we don’t have to be alone on this journey called life, and with the guidance of Kasham, truly shamanic energy, we can find balance. It was a beautiful thing to lose the illusion of control and let whatever came to me because once I accepted that it wasn’t about what I wanted, but what I needed, I found a peaceful place in my heart, my home.

“The first most beautiful, meaningful cathartic spiritual experience that I have experienced. The ceremony was conducted in a such loving, comfortable manner surrounded by nature and lovely people, meditation with soundbath. Personally Kasham was like a mother to me during the ceremony, I felt protected and loved no matter what. Kasham organises and plans out the days of the retreat in a way that nothing is rushed and all flows naturally.

I’m looking forward for another retreat meditation with her and for more healing to happen in her presence. I highly recommend.”
